Liebster Blog Award

I received the Liebster Blog Award from Ruth at The Mixing Bowl earlier this summer and I've been meaning to write this post for a while. I'm quite surprised to receive a blogging award. I know that people read my blog because I get lovely comments on my posts but I never really think of my content as anything particularly special. I'm very happy to receive this award and I've chosen some of my favourite smaller blogs to nominate for the award as well because I enjoy reading their posts.

The Rules of the Liebster Award:

•Link back to the person who gave it to you and thank them.
•Post the award to your blog.
•Give the award to five bloggers with less than 200 followers who you appreciate and value (please do not be offended by this, I don’t think you have less than 200 followers I am sending on some blog love because I think your blog is great!)
•Let your award winners know!

A Baked Thesis - This blog is written by Lauren and it is one of the blogs that first inspired me to give blogging a go after I found her blog through the Great British Baking Club. She is also a PhD student and she bakes lovely cakes. I thought if somebody else can do a PhD and write about baking then maybe I can too. so thank you Lauren for the inspiration.

Baked With Kindness - Another student baking blog. Ryan is a law student and has a clear passion for baking. He has posted some wonderfully creative recipes alongside reviews of his favourite baking books.

Under The Blue Gum Tree - Claire is a British ex pat living in South Africa and I found her blog through the Weekly Bake Off challenge. Her blog is a record of her efforts to cook from her wide collection of cook books and she has made some wonderful things so far including some delectable cakes.

I'd Much Rather Bake Than...- Laura has only been blogging for a few months but she's posted some great baking recipes so far. I especially like the sound of her coffee and walnut cookies.

Miss Friday's Feast -Written by Nicole this is another very new blog and already she has proved inspirational with a good range of recipes for delicious meals and beautiful photos.
