A possible new challenge

I love taking part in challenged and I've had an idea for a new one but before I get it off the ground I want to know if people are interested in taking part. I feel like I need to do this because there already a lot of challenges and I don't want to put the effort in if people don't want to take part/think it is not a good idea. My idea is fairly simple and has been inspired by reading Larousse Gastronomique Desserts, Cakes and Pastries. The idea is for me to choose at random a classical French technique each month e.g. different types of pastry, sauces etc and then to make anything using that technique and blog about it. I've set up a poll on the top left of my blog home page where you can vote. If enough people seem interested I'll get it organised to start next month.

  1. I think this is a great idea. Apart from pastry, I am rubbish at this sort of thing. My knowledge of sauces in particular is zero. Definitely count me in and if you need a guest host at any point...... ;-)
