I know I'm incredibly late posting this week - oops!
After last weeks feedback about the soufflés vs tart I took the plunge and made soufflés and have written about them here as I made a few changes to the original recipe. I left out the cheese and reduced the quantity and for a first attempt I was quite proud of myself. I didn't completely stick to last weeks plan, instead of the tortilla and vegetavble pilaf I ended up having breaded plaice and chips 2 nights in a row. I completely forgot my boyfriend was working late a couple of nights last week and found the fish reduced in Tesco on the way home from uni. This week I'm trying recipes from a new book that I got last week. As always I've linked up with Mrs M.
Monday - smoked salmon & courgette pasta with creme fraiche
Tuesday - potato & onion curry from Indian Family Cook Book
Wednesday - Indian lamb meatballs also from Indian Family Cook Book
Thursday - potato & onion curry
Friday - tomato & basil tart with salad
Saturday - pearl barley risotto
Sunday - sausage, mash and beans

Yay for you - those souffles looked fab! Why not try your boyfriend on a sweet one? I've got a recipe for a hot raspberry one on my blog which was lush.
ReplyDeleteMeals this week sound scrummy - enjoy!

It's always fun to have a nosey at other people's weekly menu planner. I am rubbish at sticking to them, so I always admire those who do :)
